ArtRising is a collective impact project in which artists utilize their creative skills to address critical issues of our time through socially engaged practice, art that is collaborative, often participatory and involves people as the medium or material of the work. The overall intention of the ArtRising! projects is that while distinct elements of the community and our environment benefit directly from the creative influence of participating artists and supporters, the collective effect will significantly impact, elevate, and shape our collective future . Call for Letters of Interest Open Now
Join Heather Sielicki from Carry it Forward and Charly Swing from ArtCity for a weekly one hour discussion about addressing the housing and homelessness crisis through an artist lens, and an exploration into how other communities have utilized socially engaged art to address their most pressing social issues.
This will be a 6-week lunch-time series. This Wednesday series will begin on April 26 and the session will end June 30, 2021. All are welcome to attend at any point throughout the series. To be efficient with our discussion time and to ensure COVID-19 protocols are observed, we ask participants to RSVP prior to each discussion.

ArtCity Studios on Broadway
a studio community of artists and art organizations located in the lower level of the historic Quackenbush Building at 160 E Broadway in Downtown Eugene. Select studio pieces may be purchased. Studio tours and use of the Community Lounge are available by appointment.
